Sing your way through the darkest and coldest months of the year! The healing power of singing together is huge.  Study after study has shown that singing, both alone and even more so in a group, reduces anxiety, stress, and depression, helps reduce chronic pain and inflammation, boosts the immune system, and improves memory, lung and heart health.   

In this class we will explore folk traditions of healing and ritual songs from  Lithuania, Georgia, and Eastern Europe. Through melody, harmony, dissonance, rhythm, and images of nature, these ancient songs create a deep and powerful experience that resonates through mind, body, and soul.  We’ll learn from ear and sing in unison and in harmony. 

This class is open to all (no singing experience necessary). Pre-registration is kindly required. Class fee $70-$140 sliding scale. Email maria@catehillorchard.com for questions or to sign up.
