DIY Weatherization Workshop

   Stay warmer this Winter with a little pre-planning and application.  To get the wherewithal to do so, the Craftsbury, Greensboro, and Glover Energy Committees will be hosting a DIY Home Weatherization Workshop on Wed., 11/14, 7 PM, at the Craftsbury Public Library.  Learn methods of sealing and the different insulating covers for your windows; how to seal doors; how to insulate and seal an attic door; methods of eliminating backdrafting in range hoods and bath fans; how to use an aerosol foam canister and caulk gun to seal up air leaks; applying extra insulation in your attic; and what tools, products, and incentives are available for detecting and fixing air leaks and insulation voids.

  There will be free door and window weather stripping available from Eff. Vt., as well as aerosol foam cans to be given away as door prizes.
