The Craftsbury Historical Society has initiated recording 'Craftstories' at the Town Hall on Fridays at 4 pm, using the ZOOM 'Owl' that is place to do the recording. Once recorded, they're uploaded to Youtube to be a part of the town's historical record of the stories of the people living in town in 2023. Here's an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g83PuwQRogY
So, if you'd be interested in telling your family's Craftsbury Story (Craftstory), and are available at 4 pm on Friday to be at the Town Hall to do the recording, please be in touch. We can accomodate up to 5 people at a time; this might be a good chance to gather some friends, and come and do the recording as a group.
Remember, everyone's history in Craftsbury matters. By collecting those stories, the Historical Society feels it is doing important work. We'll continue the project as long as there are folks in town willing to share their stories.
Be in touch.
