FINAL PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF CRAFTSBURY

The Town of Craftsbury received $1,000,000 from the State of Vermont for a grant under the Vermont Community Development Program (VCDP). A public hearing will be held at The Craftsbury Town Hall, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. to obtain the view of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the range of community development activities that have been undertaken under this program, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to example a statement of the use of these funds. The VCDP Funds received have been used to accomplish the following activities: HVAC system renovations to the Craftsbury Community Care Center (CCCC), which is improving air handling throughout the building, ncluding the kitchen to ensure the comfort and safety of CCCC residents and staff. The improvements also include air conditioning to the CCCC Community Room, which will provide opportunities for a cooling center in extreme heat events.
