Meditation Twice a Month at the Craftsbury Community Care Center

Joining Eastern/Holistic offerings at the Center like Seated Tai Chi, is now a twice a month Meditation with Nancy Milholland. This will take place the 2 nd and 4 th Fridays of the month at 3pm beginning September 13 th .
Nancy is a psychotherapist with specialized training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). MBSR is the gold standard for using mindfulness to manage stress and improve health outcomes and is based on the research of the well-known physician and author Jon Zabat-Zinn. Each session Nancy will offer a short 10-minute focused discussion on a mindfulness related topic, guide participants in a 15 minute meditation, and also have a closing check in where participants can share their experiences with the meditation. This program is sponsored by the Mental Health Resource Group of Craftsbury.
