Celebrate Spring, Community and Our State! Pick a road, grab a bag and do your part! Green Up Day, May 6th. Help pick up litter and make our state shine.

It's downright SATISFYING to clean up our beautiful town and dress it up for spring. And it's civic-minded and the right thing to do. And it's easy. And it's FREE!!

Isn't it exciting? Green-Up Day is coming in less than three weeks. Holy cowabunga!
Bags have been distributed to the stores, churches, librees…you name it. And here's some thrilling news: Lee at Blackbird Bistro promised me she would offer a FREE BAG with each meal. I mean to tell ya!!!

And here's what's more: You can collect trash anytime before G.U.D. It doesn't have to be on May 6, if an earlier date is more convenient for you. Wow!

So get your little bunny selves out there, enjoy our lovely community, burn a few calories, and feel all warm 'n fuzzy inside.

Come May 6th the town will provide a truck (town truck, not one of the bigger commercial trucks) at the town garage where you can leave your full bags of roadside trash. Yes, for free. I know, right????
