Principal Candidate Meet and Greet

The Craftsbury Principal Search Committee has completed its search for Principal to begin leading our schools beginning July. The three finalists are:

Jessica Thomas, current Principal of the Albany Community School in Albany, VT.

Lisa McCarthy, current Principal in Mountain View Union Elementary School District serving the communities of Greensboro, Hardwick, Stannard, and Woodbury.

Tom Drake, current Elementary Teacher at Waitsfield Elementary School. Former Principal of the Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury, VT. Taught at Craftsbury many years ago.

Candidates are visiting campus this week and next to meet with staff, students, and administration.

A community meet and greet will take place Tuesday April 2nd starting at 5:30pm in the Craftsbury Academy Gymnasium. Each candidate will spend about 30 minutes introducing themselves and answering questions. Staff, students, parents, and community will have an opportunity to provide written feedback to the School Board. All are welcome and we hope you will attend.
