Event name: Taizé Service: Singing, Contemplation, and Silence

In the week before Easter, East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church is hosting a service of contemplative singing with songs based on the last week of Jesus' life. Led by Rev. Joe Welker and Jen Cornelius, we will be singing simple meditative songs from the Taizé tradition interspersed with readings, prayer, and silence. This service is open for singers of all levels and accessible to people who like sacred music but don't know how they feel about church. All are welcome!

The Taizé Community is an ecumenical Christian monastic fraternity and pilgrimage site in Burgundy, France, with members from Protestant and Catholic backgrounds.
