The Samuel Crafts Canal at the Craftsbury Academy Woodlot is 200 years old!!!

The Woodlot Committee and the Craftsbury Historical Society invite you to a party to celebrate this historic feature on the landscape.

Saturday, September 10 at 1 PM

Meet at the Academy Woodlot Kiosk on Wylie Hill Road. Plenty of parking available.

We’ll have cake and lemonade, hear a few words about the Canal and why Samuel Crafts built it, then head out to the Canal. The round trip walk is about 2 miles on well marked and well used trails. with part of the walk in the canal itself.
