Decorate Your Own Mug

Working with wet clay is fun, but sometimes the best part is focusing on the decoration! So skip past the clay part and spend an evening exploring low-fire surface design using colored terra-sigillatas (fine particle liquid clay) on pre-made earthenware mugs. Decorate professionally hand-thrown, bone-dry mugs using techniques you will learn, including: brushwork, layering, carving (sgriffito), wax resist, and paper stencils. Your mug with then be fired and ready for your morning coffee in no time! Led by Emma Podolin.

All materials are included!
Ages 12 and up

Class fee: $40 (or $35 for students/seniors)
